Hello,

I need to find the boot.ini file on a PC running Windows 2000. I've set Windows Explorer to show hidden files. I've searched the entire C: drive, but can't find it. The PC is connected to a Novell network.

Anyone knows where the boot.ini file could be gone?

Thanks in advance for your help,

I was having the same problem locating the boot.ini file on several win 2000 machines. Even with hidden/system files enabled I was not able to see it.

Use your run command and type in

c:\boot.ini

This will bring up your boot.ini even if you don't see it listed.
