Comment:

A user is moving directories around on the server. Is there a way of finding out who is doing this? I'm pretty sure they are just accidentally drag 'n' dropping files, because the missing directories are usually found in the directory immediately above or below in Win Explorer. I would therefore, rather talk to them individually, rather than sending a memo to all staff.

any help most welcome.

good point. is there a way to stop the ability to move directories, but still allow creating, deleting etc of subdirectories underneath?

if so, i'll happily implement that.

The first thing to do would be check and see who has privileges to those folders that are being moved, and where they're being moved to.

Life's more painless for the brainless.
