mirror problems

i having a problem to mirror 2 hdds one on the other
When the regeneration starts after awhile it says i/o error - cant be done
i can format the hdd and i can use it on any other computer without any problem
any suggestion please

On the drive that is going to be used to mirror a working drive connect it to a machine by itself and use FDISK from a Windows 9x disk to wipe out any and all paritions. Also run FDISK /MBR on it. Then connect it to the machine that is to use the drive as a mirror and set your mirroring up...
