Download WinZip 8 from www.downloads.com (or wherever) Install WinZip (Or any program that deals with Zip files).

You can then access the zipped latest drivers/update and install them.!

Good Luck...

Fully and completely UNINSTALL your scanner and software. BUT leave connected to the PC.

Shutdown/restart PC and when the PC is starting up UNPLUG the scanner.

Back in windows, reinstall all the software including patches and updates as per the manafacturers read me files etc.

Shutdown/restart the PC again.

Back in windows, when the PC is ready to rock, plug the scanner back in. This should find new hardware and install the drivers you have just installed. (but remember where the uncompressed file were just in case windows can't find them so you can point windows to look in the right place.)

Hey Presto, the scanner should work.!

Good Luck...

Hmmm....
Had a look at the Mcrotek website. The only other suggestion that comes readily to mind would be updating the drivers for your USB Ports (there are links for this on the website)
Check your machines specs for the USB and update as necessary and trry again...

Good Luck...
