Alright I keep getting the same error message about once a day and I have no clue what to do. My computer bluescreens and has the message Error 8046BC49 at 80400000 Date Stamp 4047db83. How do I trouble shoot this. I pulled up the verifier tool but their are so many possible drivers that I don't know where to begin. I'm not even sure if I should be looking at the drivers or elsewhere. Any help would be great.

I would start with the basics. Look at the device manager for any hardware conflicts.
Look at the event viewer for any other possible errors. Everyone forgets to do that for some reason.
Uninstall all Symantec products.

That error does seem to be related to some piece of hardware like ram chip, hard drive or the video card. If you have 2 ram chips take one out and reseat your cables on the hard drive.

We can't solve problems by using the same kind of
thinking we used when we created them.

Checked Device manager and there are no conflicts, nothing shows in event viewer, and I uninstalled all symantec products awhile ago and switched to McAfee. Trying to run it with one ram chip now to see if the same error happens. It only happens about once a day so it might take a day or two to know for sure.
