I am sorry...I did not know where else to post it. I am planning on getting the MCSE certification. However, there is a deluge of books and online courses that promise everything. I was wondering if anyone here who is MCSE certified can suggest good books or resources for taking the exam. I plan to take all windows 2000 exams.

I am about to complete my mcse, i have used Sybex and exam cram study materials and have had great success. Although, nothing beats hands on training, so if you have a few computers and windows 2000 set up your own network and play with it!! Hope this helps, take your time, study and you shall prevail.
Dont use the cheat sheets or test king products, they will just set you up to pass, but not be a Network Administrator!!!

Classes from a MS cert instructor that is geared to teach you the job is best. The exam cram stuff will help pass the tests, but not get you a job.

As a former Microsoft Certified Trainer, I would agree with Rick. Taking a class or two from an instructor where you can ask questions can help a lot. The self tests are good but believe me, even with the MCSE, you still have a lot to learn afterwards.
