We have a net with Windows 2000 server,SP2,wins,dns,dfs, with 400 workstations,4 subnets and routers.
Sometimes the Login Script doesn't map and give us a msg:'Unable to map.." but if you map using explore or prompt for do it,it works, and if you reeboot the workstation with problem, sometimes, the map works without msg error. This map is used to mapping a DFS. What could be wrong?
I are having some problems with master browers and we are using wins and DNS, Is there any diference between mapping during login script and using Explorer or Prompt (net use..)? Thank you !
