Was curious if anyone could help with a question referring to DOS. I would like to map a network drive using a batch file which I could put in the startup folder. I would like to incorporate both the username and password in this file. I have found several instances on the net which explain this but I cannot find one that hard codes the password in the file. I would like no user intervention upon startup.

The command is:
net use drive: \\servername\sharename /user:username password

Keep in mind that your password will be shown as straight text and can be easily viewed.
