map network drive from win2k to NT

I tried to map network drive from Win2K server to domain controller that it's NT server. But I always get a message, 'incorrect password or unknown username'. I tried to do the map from domain controller(NT) to the the server(Win2K), it shows "the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed". From NT, I can set trust relationship between domains. How can I set a trust relationship between member servers(Win2K) and domain controller(NT)? Sophie

Hmmm I'm a little lost, because it sounds like you have a W2K domain and an NT 4.0 domain and you're trying to map drives between the two.
Easiest way is to just duplicate a username and password one both and use that to set Share permissions (set Security to Everyone).
Other than that you need to provide some more info on your network setup. Such as if they are in the same forest and just member servers, or if you do indeed have two seperate domains....

The primary domain is NT 4.0. The Win2K is a member server. I could do the drive map before I set security policy by following our company requirement. I don't know what's wrong now. Thanks for your help. Sophie
