Hello Celo,
Thanks for your help, but it still cannot work. I have update the new bios from IBM site. After I format C: & copy the USB driver ,mscdex.exe , create config.sys & autoexec.bat . Then I swap the drive from Floopy to USB CD-ROM.
I want to know, inside BIOS, which one is boot first? (CD-ROM or Harddisk). I have try each other, but the notebook nothing respond, only a dash flashing.
I hope this problem doesn't make you inconvenient. Many thanks
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
OK, when you boot the laptop, press F12 to get to the BIOS, at the top of the page you should see the "Config" section, press ENTER to get in
Arrow down to the USB section and ENTER, press F5/F6 until USB BIOS Support is "Enabled"
Escape out then select "Floppy Drives" and DISABLE Legacy Floppy DrivesEscape to the main menu, arrow down to the STARTUP section and ENTER
Arrow down to BOOT and press ENTER
F5/F6 to move the choices up and down.
Select "removeable Devices" as the first boot device and then if that doesn't boot, go back and choose CD-Rom.
Escape to the main menu and hit F10 to save and exit.
Please tell me what the exact name of your USB CD-Rom driver is, then tell me what the exact lines in your config.sys & autoexec.bat are. We may need to change them...
