Has anyone been successful with getting the Magic Jack Internet telephone device to run under W2K Pro (w/SP 4 installed)? The official position of the seller is Windows XP and Vista only. However, applications supported by these operating systems often run under W2K as well.
I don't want to spend the forty bucks for the Magic Jack and one year of service if it's doomed on W2K from the beginning.
Thanks.

Well if the seller states WinXP/Vista only you are doomed. Anything goes wrong will be blamed on W2K.

Magic Jack does NOT work with Win2000. It only works with XP SP1/SP2 or Vista. Needs some Services only available in XP or Vista

Spent many days trying for Win2000.
