Hi everybody!

i got this really weird problem...
my machine keeps on getting a blue screen
MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION

i really don't know what could possibly do that...
so i need a lil' feedback on finding a solution to my problem...
what's weird is that it happens when my winamp is playing...

i made a error-checking on the disk where the mp3s are played and it's fine...
and my sound card doesn't show any problem...
can somebody help me on this...

thanks

Jeep

Are your sound card & Mother Board drivers up to date?? sounds like thats probaly it..........otherwise (but less likely) you might have a virus (again though... this is unlikely)

BTW... do you have a Jeep? if so what kind?

I would check and make sure you have the most up date BIOS, I just updated mine last month and started having problems turns out the day after I flashed it they put out another fix... (oops)

other than that it kind of sounds like a device conflict... try taking your sound card out and running it for a day doing all your normal tasks....
(if you want me to follow up on this one E-Mail me after this message)

I wouldn't trust the Norton's too much, I had 2 different virus's on my machine and Norton's 2002 never had a clue. Goto www.antivirus.com and run their online scan. It's the best antivirus I've found yet.
