At my company we use Window 2000 and active directory. I am having a problem with one of my users, after she logs on/off of the computer a couple times her default printer setting is lost. I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem and how they got it fixed. Thanks!

Is the setting configured properly in her user profile on the server?

Yes, we actually think we found the problem late yesterday. Her profile was so large and it took her login script so long to execute because of the profile size, that the registry was trying to set the printer to default before it was there, therefore it defaulted to the first available printer. That is my theory anyways, it seems to be confirmed because we made her profile a lot smaller and now it works fine.
