PROBLEM WITH WIN 2000
#1 BOOT time is upto 4.5 minutes #2 the amount of RAM available as shown in the taskbar (at high speed) is max 6mb
#3 the overall response time after giving a command is very high
things I have tried---- Ihave tried disabling some items while switching to manual some other items from startup but with no apparent improvement
solutions required!! 1 decrease bootup time 2 increase response time

Add RAM! Yes, the minimum spec for win2k is 64mb, but.... it's like running w95 on a 8mb machine.. Everything you start up requires the swapfile to kick in. I personally never install win2k on a michine that doesn't have >128 meg.
