This software update is for users who have upgraded from Windows 98 or 98SE to Windows 2000 Pro. This software updates the 4200c series HP scanner software (PrecisionScan LT v.3.0) for use with Windows 2000 Pro upgrade only. The scanner must be plugged in and powered on before running the update. You may discover that the scanner buttons do not work after installing the patch. Please refer to the Technical Support Document "Buttons do not Work After Upgrading to Windows 2000" to correct the problem.

I called HP they Fedex me the software. It was free for the 4200C i have a 6350C however they want to charge me money for.

Same thing for me ! (4200c)

They want to charge me for the CD but when you call, they send it free by UPS. The girl at the custumer services said that they receive many complaints about that. Why they don't put the drivers on the web ??? It's too big they say... Common'

Iīm lookink for the scannersoftware for my hp scanjet 4200c for win 2000, because i have installed win 2000, but something went wrong and the hp software was destroied, so the upgrade of hp donīt work. so please help me to find software for the scanner.
