Comment:

Win 2000 Pro sp3, with Corel QuattroPro 10, if I cretae a file with a long file name (over 8 characters) and save it all is fine.
If I open QP10 first and select file|open, it opens fine and retains its long file name.

However, if I just double click the file from Windows explorer to open it the file name is truncated to the 8.3 format, always ending with ~1.

Does any one have any thoughts on why this may be happening?

Joliet extentions are for CD's, they have nothing to do with FAT/NTFS partitions. The above info is pointless.
