I set up a new W2k server and created a group login script for a W2k workstation. Initially this script worked and the workstations would login and map drives to the server.
I had to reinstall the workstations however and now cannot get any login scripts to run no matter what I try. Have reinstalled both server and workstation - to no avail.
What is the problem?Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

um, let's see
first, the workstations need to be members of the domain
then, you need users
okay, created those?now you need some login scripts
how about a txt file, renamed login.bat
containing
net send /domain hi there!then you need to place that on the netlogon share on the PDC, which i find is easiest just to connect to it from another PC
cuz the path on the server is like
c:\winnt\system32\repl\export\scripts
anyway, must put the batch file therethen, in user manager, or active directory users and computers, you specify that batch file name in the profile section of the user properties
then, you have them log in
and every PC in the domain gets a "hi there" message
word!
