Comment:

The login script for the users in the domain does not run anymore. If I run the login script manually it works, but if the user logs in to the domain, nothing happens. I have added and removed the user/computer from the domain, run windows update on the server.

The only error I see in the event viewer happens to be on the local computer.

Event id:4100

The COM+ Event System failed to create an instance of the subscriber {6295DF2D-35EE-11D1-8707-00C04FD93327}. CoCreateInstanceEx returned HRESULT 8000401A. I have tried the fix on www.eventid.net, but it is not applicable.

CLID {6295DF2D-35EE-11D1-8707-00C04FD93327}: mobsync (Synchonization Manager)

Error code 8000401A: The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password.

As per Microsoft: "To resolve this behavior, use the Regsvr32 tool to unregister the Mobsync.dll file from the server.".

Suggestions from newsgroups:
Check HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\{6295DF2D-35EE-11d1-8707-00C04FD93327}
You should see this:
- (Default) REG_SZ MobSync
- RunAs REG_SZ Interactive User
If the RunAs value is misspelled or has wrong information, make it look like this.

The registry setting is correct.
