Logging server usage

Is there a way to log server logons thru either modem access or thru lan access on a Win2000 server? Is there an application that can track access logons? I would like to know whos logging on and what applications are being accessed. Thanks for any light that can be shed on these questions.

hi,

u can use kix tool which was given in windows 2000 resource kit. using this u can log the user logons. for application usage u can use group policy object access.
