Hi,

When I try to add an NT 4.0 domain to my W2K Laptop I get a message about not having an account for the workstation trust relationship. I understand that this is because when W2k first establishes a link with the domain it needs to log onto an account with Admin privilages. My problem is I travel all over the UK and it's a pain in the ass trying to get IT departments to log my laptop on.
Does anyone know if there is a way to hack the domain name or a utility to add domains. This really is a bloody nightmare - why did M$ decide to change this? It was much easier in NT4 and W98 to type the domain name in.

G.
