i am finding that when i try and sign into MSN Messenger it will not let me as it says that i am behind a firewall. I did not think i had a firewall on my computer, is there one built into win2k pro?? If so how do you locate it or locate a firewall in general?

there isn't a firewall built into windows 2000. Maybe you are behind a router? That could have a build in firewall.
