Comment:

Is it possible to avoid the local group policy to be overridden by the the group policy defined in Active directory when logging in to a domain.

Our users need 2 policies :
One policy when they logged inn to a win 2000 terminalserver. This policy are defined in an organizational unit in Active Directory and have many restrictions.

The second policy are the local policy on Win 2000 Pc's. Users should have administrator rights to their win 2000 pc's

Last I heard, local policies only come into play when not connected to a Domain. Other than that, a Domain policy will always override a local one. It's a pecking order.
