Folks, I have myself a BIG problem. I had a problem and probably thought that re-joining the domain might work. So once I joined the workgroup, it prompted me for a restart of the server. And UH-OH, I realised all my other colleagues do not have the administrator's of the local machine password.

I have another spare machine which was probably setup by the same guy a couple of years ago (who already left the company). Is there ANY way for me to find out what the local administrator password on that machine is? I am currently logged into that machine as a Domain Admin.

Failing which, I will probably do a parallel install and reset the local admin password which is probably the last thing I would want to do. I have checked out the other options like http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm but would rather try to get back the local administrator's password of the other machine.

Thanks.
