Hi,
I have a Litronic PCMCIA 2 slot card reader installed in my PC tower. It sometimes works perfectly. Sometimes it doesn't work. Now, when I put in a card the computer shuts down and I get a stop screen when it restarts. If I remove the card it starts up okay. I hve tried different cards and a different slot with the same result.
Sometimes it will accept a card, and my Card Wizard software show that the card is installed and working, but it doesn't show up on My Computer.
I wish I had a clue about what I might try to get this thing to work properly.

Thanks,

Ron

Hot-plugging PCMCIA is a bad idea. Surprising you haven't fried anything yet.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
