Linksys Router, whats my IP?

i got a linksys router, connected to a cable modem, whats my ip? when i type "ipconfig" in command prompt, it only shows the, routers ip address, and thats only good through the network, i can see my ip, through mirc, when i /dns my nick, why cant i see my ip in "ipconfig" in command prompt?

your router takes the ip that @home(or whoever your cable provider is) assigned to you. you take a private ip address such as 192.168.1.X. you can ping your router by pinging the ip address your cable provider assigned, but more efficiently by pinging 192.168.1.1. that is the ip address of the router relative to you. nobody can actually ping your computer, they can only ping the router unless you enabled DMZ hosting or port routing. the router acts sort of like a firewall and your computer won't take direct connections unless you set it up that way.

You have to use your browser to look at the Linksys configuration. Go to 192.168.1.1 and then login. Go to the Status tab and look at the Wan IP Address.

i see it in my routers comfig status page, but why doesn't it show up in "ipconfig" or "ipconfig /all" ?

Because ipconfig will only show ip information for NIC cards in your pc. Your liknsys has a nic that obtains its address from your ISP.
