Lexmark z82 scanner driver alternate

We are running Windows 2000 at work, bought the all in one Lexmark Z82 under the understanding it worked with Windows 2000. THe printer and copier work, but there is no driver available for the scan manager for Windows 2000. Does anyone know if there is an alternate driver available that is compatable with the Lexmark Z82, that will work with Windows 2000?

I'm having the same problem right now...man I wish I would have bought the HP PSC 500...

The win2k drivers are now available from the lexmark site... if you can catch it when it's not busy

I am having the same problem and I finally found the new version of Smarthru2. At this site you will find several version. Including Smarthru3. ASll the files are extremly large. I hope that you have DSL or Cable available... I haven't try it yet. I am going to use the Xp upgrade for the printer from Lexmark and the smarthru updates as soon as I download them. If anyone have faster internet access and is able to install the soon, please let me know..DSL is not available in my area yet, therefore is going to take me a while before I know if the software will solve the problem..
