Subject: JPG Images (not GIF) In HTML pages.

Hello,

For the last several days, I.E. 6.0 started to show JPG images with difficulty. The images eventually become visible, but after they're loaded into the HTML page, their "type" and "size" values are simply not available. But, the dimension value is surprisingly there (such as 280 x 360 pixels)
Therefore, when I try to save a JPG image off an HTML page, it attempts to save it as "bmp" file! This problem used to arise occasionally in the past, but only on certain sites and pages; but now it 's present in all sites and pages. Did you experience such a problem, too? What should I do (except re-installing IE6.0)?
Regards.

Try emptying the "Temporary Internet Files" folder.

Also, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab and uncheck "Do Not Save Encrypted Pages to Disk"

Hope this helps!
Cleo
