Hi, I have a jetdirect and its ip was 192.168.0.111. It suddenly doesn't work, I check the ip and it's 0.0.0.0. How to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like when you setup the Jet Direct, you didn't assign it a static IP address. By default, JD uses DHCP. Now it sound like it can't pull an address. Check the cable and see if the JD is getting a connection light and activity. If it is. try resetting the JD; I believe this is done by pulling out the power cord, hold in the reset button, then plug in the power cord while holding in the reset button keep holding it in for 30 seconds. When the JD finnaly pulls an address, telnet into it using the address it has and assign it a static address and disable DHCP on it.

Get the MAC address and use arp to assign an ip to it, then telnet in and set up.
