i have winme/win2k dual booted, i was just on win2k and the internet stopped working, no aim/websites/irc so i reboot and on winme its all working, is there a virus or spyware on win2k? if not what just happened ?

U can Download spybot search and destroy @ security.kolla.de no www. Have u tried booting to win2k again and getting on internet?

just rebooted on win2k, used spybot/ad-aware 6.0/norton anti-virus all updated on winme, and they didnt find anything, and the problem stil exists. :(

Delete ME and stick with 2k for a start. Hvae u installed all your drivers? who are you logged on as? the admin? if u have problems with drivers . . . for say a external modem go to update drivers in the properties section of usb and get it to search the cd rom for the drivers for your modem and install it that way. feel free to e-mail me with probs. what chipset do you have? via? if the above fails go to viaarena.com
