Was running Win ME without problems. Installed Win2000 Pro (full version, not update) and reinstalled drivers etc...

Can connect to Internet but cannot open any Internet site. Can start I.E. but no further - error message "Page Cannot Be Displayed... Cannot Find Server or DNS Error". Checked settings and all seem ok. Starting O.E. immediately disconnects the Internet connection.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Check the Firewall and lower the Program Control to Average. The safety level is most probably too high blocking your Internet access. This is typical after a full reinstall of Windows system.Good luck.
