Comment: Good day I want to be able to print at my friend house over internet, both PC'S are High speed internet connected.
Any pointers beside Win2k pro help ?

Reply: (edit)Tell your friend to install file and print sharing.Connect to his PC using \\(his IP number) and drag your documents or pics you want to print over his printer icon. Make sure he has a firewall installed for his own security.

Reply: (edit)Also, he will have to actually share the printer. If he's using win2k, the safest thing is for him to create a computer and/or user account for you as well and ensure that your account and his own are the ONLY ones in the ACL (Security tab on the properties sheet for the share). If you're not careful, he'll wake up with no paper in the printer and reams of garbage in the out bin of this printer courtesy some wannabe hacker type. Question: Wouldn't it just be simpler and safter to email him the print job and have him print it out?
