First off I have Internet Explorer 5.5. I have for a time had this problem with my Internet Explorer. (I use another browser but this has been annoying) I can go to a webpage with images or any content and it loads successfully. When I click Back to go back to a page ive recently visited, IE has to redownload the entire page again. This also goes if i click forward to a page ive visited. IE has to redownload the entire page from scratch every time. And whats worse, on pages that have mouseover image swaping events. (and these pages have image preloading abilities) I scroll over the image that mouseovers and it has to completely redownload the image. I mouseout, (normally the orignal image that was there should pop back quickly) WRONG, it has to redownload the entire image again. Has anyone else ever had this problem and how did you fix it? Please dont tell me i haveto uninstall IE and reinstall it.

Open Internet Explorer and click Tools and then Internet Options. Make sure you're on the General tab and click settings under Temporary internet files. Here you can set how IE reloads a page you've recently visited. I bet your's is set to Every visit to the page or the amount of space you have allocated is set to almost 0.
