CPU/Ram: Intel Pentium 4

I am running windows 2000 and when I close a window in internet explorer using the red cross at the top I get an error message and internet explorer closes. It doesn't crash if I use the back arrow. Is there an easy way to fix this.

Need a error code, copy the error code down and google it. May take a couple of link but it will give you a solution.

Thanks for the ideas. I have tried the iexplore program but it does not appear to have worked. I will try to get the error code and post that .
