Ok, so today I formatted my computer for the first time. But now that I'm done. I'm stuck with 16 colors and 640x480.

My friends are saying I need to install my driver. But I can't find display adapter, so I don't know what type my video driver is.

Can anyone please give me a full tutorial of how to install my video driver, and perhaps, sound as well.

Remember that I formatted a computer for the first time ever in my life today.

Thanks

Give us specs. What kind of motherboard? Are you using onboard graphics or do you have a video card? If card, what kind of card? Using onboard sound or sound card? What kind of sound card?

I'm not sure if I have a video card or not, it's just whatever that came with the computer when I bought it. Same thing for the sound card.

I can't help much, I'm a noob.

but see if this helps.

I'll try to tell you guys as much as I know.

The monitor plugs in vertically.. so it would be an integrated video card?

I believe my model uses nvidia video driver?

I've use SiSoftware Sanda. It didn't show much when I clicked on Video system information, except for 1 item which is an error.

Thanks for helping.
