i had an older computer with an 8.4gig hdd in it that i thought would be ok for linux. i had tried to install storm, mandrake and turbo linux on the hdd in a different computer b4 but i did not have any success, so i put the hdd back in the old computer and tried installing corel on it. i now try to start the computer up but i get nothing, no boot screen. all i get is lots of beeps. i took the hdd out so i could try and format it in another computer, but when i put it in this computer with win2k on it and it showed the 8.4 gig hdd in my bios but it does not show it in the my computer folder. it does however show it in the device manager. how do i get the linux hdd to show up in win2k? thanks, Bill
