The following event was logged into Event View > System log just moments before all IIS services crashed:
Application popup: inetinfo.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x6e5a1c42" referenced memory at "0x02236b80". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program
If you have any insight as to what has happened, please help.
Just a note to show that something may have infected your computer or a dll conflict of some sort...
MSI 845e mb 768 mb ram and a p4 2.4n running xp ,win 2000 advanced server and win 98 SE alot to learn and I know so little !!!!

It's my understanding so far that this kind of fault may be caused by the VMM (virtual memory manager) In that several processes may be in memory at the same time and the page file and all of ram may be being used at any one time and therefore have no room to be written,,,
