We have windows 2000 professioanl installed and the motherboard was faulty and we have just replaced it with another one. But when I started up the machine I get the following error.

You will need a re-install.A repair install might also work. Because W2K handles all Hardware, changing hardware depending on how important the hardware is, W2K does not like it. A motherboard is a very important peice and you will have to either repair the installation or re-install.
