Hey Guys,
Been trying to export my users from a W2k servers running AD and import them to the same computer after I dcpromo and change computer name. I am using a test server before I attempt this on the main server and I get repeated errors when trying to import the users back into AD using LDIFDE.exe and csvde.exe. Is there an more user friendly way or tool to import and export the users and groups from AD without using those 2 commands native to w2k? Not very good with the editing in excel in the 2 formats supplied by MS in export/import. In NT 4.0 I used the ADDUSERS.exe and that did the trick just fine, anyone know of an equivelent of the addusers.exe in NT 4.0 for w2k and where to find it? Thanks for all replies, and I will check back often.
