IIS Causes Problems

I installed IIS on my computer. All of a sudden, something strange: after about 5 minutes, I cannot access any webpage on the Internet nor can I access my emails.
If I re-start the computer, Internet and email access work fine, but then after 5 minutes, same problem.
I uninstalled IIS and the problem vanished, so it would appear that the problem is related to IIS.
Any helpful information would be much appreciated.

Have you looked through your Event Viewer logs?
Sounds like IIS might have been configured wrong....

IIS really blows. It's a security nightmare and just isn't stable. If you need a web server you should run Apache. It's free by the way, and it runs on windows.
