First: YES
Second: For what?

I assume you talking from Apache?!

You could have both installed, but only one running!

Why you want drive a bicycle from the scrape yard (IIS) and a 18 wheel turbo loaded truck (Apache) the same time?

Compare:
Linux with Apache= 386'er with 64MB Ram and a 20GB HD running nice, now try the same with IIS!

Or compare the bug fix from Apache with IIS,
IIS more than 280 with some majore once unsolved.
3 by Apache but only one for UNIX, two are for Windows!!

Buy a distribution of Linux (@ $ 100) and in 2 hours up and running, it's you first time workin with Linux then quote 2 days!

For security resons use only Apache on Linux!
