IEXPLORER.EXE Error

CPU/Ram: P-IV 1.7
Comment:

whenever i try to write something in the IE address bar or in start>run window .... it gives the error "IEXPLORER.EXE or EXPLORER.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows"

can anyone tell me wht exactly is causing this error?

repair IE by going to the control panel

I would run an updated virus scan....preferrably in safe mode.
