I searched a bit but did not find this: after discovering that Dreamweaver could no longer connect, I uninstalled my antivirus software (Norton) and Dreamweaver. Upon reinstalling Dreamweaver, I could dial and connect to my ISP (BellSouth) but neither IE6 or Outlook are connecting. I get "Unable to find email server." and can't connect to the page errors. On a laptop, I can connect with the same settings. I have a feeling that the unistallation messed up some files or registry settings.

Any ideas? I have used the "Repair IE" dialog and no success . . .

Thanks.

Honestly, like many of the other threads in
here will also suggest......IE6 sucks major
donkey balls. Get rid of it, and use IE5.
You'll thank me later.
I'm not garaunteeing it will fix the problem
you're having now, but it will fix a lot of
other irritating problems you didn't
complain about, that's for sure.
