Reply: (edit)Windows Update requires IE 5.5 to run correctly. Windows 2000 Pro has IE 5.0. I tried the site anyway but I was loading with errors.

Reply: (edit)I had that problem before. Once I installed SP4 I had no more problems with the IE6 installation. Make sure your Win2K Pro has SP4 installed BEFORE you try installing IE6. Who knows, knows and who doesn't know, dosen't know jack! El que sabe, sabe y el que no sabe, no sabe nada!

Reply: (edit)whats wrong with IE5x.? From what I know (and personal experience) IE6x. crashes at times on Windows 2000 and uses more memory/makes the system less responsive. I tend to just leave IE at the OS default unless its XP in which case I used IE7x.
