I have a Windows 2000 computer that gives me problems each time I open up an Internet shortcut; when i do, it prompts me for going through the setup of the Internet connection; I do this, and the shortcut comes up; but it keeps recurring each time I open any of the shortcuts on the desktop. I can open IE6 on its own just fine. What's going on?

it looks as if you have a virus my friend. Either that or you've been hacked!
