Comment:

Upon clean install of W2K I configured two ISPs. Then started IE 5.01 with automatic reconnect checked (all fields are dark grey).

With former Windows versions pressing the "cancel" button released the grey fields allowing me to change the ISP. The "cancel" button changes to a "work offline" button.

Now pressing the "cancel" button shows "work offline" for just a few moments then directly goes offline.

Where is the tweak for this misbehaviour? Don't suggest to upgrade to IE5.5 or IE6. After their installation, the behaviour described above is gone, but instead the desktop configuration (open windows) won't be restored any more after reboot (what the f... is MS burdening us with ?!?!)

Thx in advance
AKo
