When accessing Word docs on our intranet site, a few users using IE 5.5 are getting the "Enter Network Password" requestor. Canceling allows document to be displayed on screen. Once doc has been displayed in browser, clicking on browsers back button may also trigger the requestor. No problem in Netscape, and only occurs on a few IE 5.5 workstations. Installed IE 5.5 SP1 and latest security patch but no help. Permissions on the server are ok - we even went so far as to allow anonymous authentication in IIS, but it didn't make any difference. Front Page extensions are installed on our Win 2000 web server (SP1) with the latest IIS security patches installed. Any ideas are much appreciated.
