Hey,
Here was the problem: The computer had a mind of its own and robooted itself and froze alot. Until I did a virus search and it restarted itself when it scanned for the boot sector. So I figured its a bad boot sector let me fat32 and reformat it. BUT!
Here is the current problem: It doesnt want me to boot it up to ms dos so I can fat 32. It says ethier 1) Bad Boot Disk or 2) Disk I/O Error. So I thought it was floopy changed the floppy drive and samething. The only thing is I didnt use new floppy disk because it reads on the other 3 computers its just this one. PLEASE HELP ASAP!

lets see, you re-formatted and now it won't boot.

hmmmmmmm,

did you boot into the bios and set it to boot up to the cd-rom drive first and boot to the win2k cd?

or the floppy 1st or 2nd? make the hdd 3rd and try again.

logic here escapes me. Master boot record is damaged so you reformat? That is like tearing down your house because the front door won't open. Fdisk/mbr [hint hint]. Did you format c: /s??? if no /s it won't boot.

sounds like a hardware issue concerning booting the floppy.

Wanderer's second suggestion i agree with. Make sure the computers floppy drive works...somehow check it or rule it out.
