This should work. Right Click Network places, properties. Right click Network adaptor, properties. Double click TCP/IP protocol and choose IP Address. I suggest using 192.168.0.1 as your "server" (2K machine) and choosing 192.168.0.xxx as the 95 client.
Click Advanced, then Gateway. Enter the IP of your server.
Click WINS and add the IP address of your server. Click OK, OK, ...
Right click "My Computer", properties, network identification, properties. Enter Workgroup name and configure 95 client to the same workgroup. Use different Computer names on the two machines. Reboot both machines.Press Win+E to open Explorer and type the address/computer name (preceded by "\\") of your server in the client machine's address bar. If guest account is enabled on server, you should see the shared folders, at least Printers and... another thing I can't come up with at this moment.
Hope this helps.

Your workgroup login will be DIFFERENT from your domain login. Chances are that you will need to login to your computer with the Administrator account that you set the password to when installing 2K. Windows keeps the domain profile and the local profile in different folders. If you don't know your local Administrator password or if you don't have your own username/password setup for your local computer then you may be hosed!
