I have AVANCE AC97 AUDIO installed on motherboard in my computer and since I got the comp. I can't hear the sound well.now I wanted to play movies and another problem accured. I hear the background voices very loud, but not the acters speaking.it is impossible to watch the movie at all.I connected the computer to TV and when I play music it is OK. I tried playing the same movies at my friend's computer, also connected to TV with my cables and everything worked as it should.
please help me!

It sounds like you are viewing movies that are encoded in the Dolby or DTS 5.1 surround. You probably have the software set to a 5.1 speaker setup but are only running 2 speakers and are not getting the voices from the center channel. Look under the preferences in the software for a normal 2 speaker setup.
