I was running Windows 98 with my printer working fine. I upgraded to Windows 2k, downloaded the driver for my HP 3100, uninstalled the printer and then reinstalled it. The problem is now that is sends the task to the queue (icon visible in the tray), then it disappears like it going to print it. But nothing comes out of the printer, and no error message is displayed, quite odd. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this matter?

The HP support/driver website does not have print drivers for 2000, you have to order a CD to get them. There are several listed for XP. What drivers did you install?
